Gogo Wins Air France-KLM Connectivity Deal
Gogo continues to rack up wins with its 2Ku technology, enabled by ThinKom's ThinAir Falcon-Ku3030, this time its 124 long-haul aircraft with Air France-KLM.
The breakdown is as follows: "A total of 68 Air France Boeing 777s and 15 Airbus A330s, as well as 29 KLM Royal Dutch Airlines Boeing 777s and 12 Airbus A330s, will be equipped with 2Ku Wi-Fi on board starting from end 2017...The first aircraft is expected to be in service end of next year, with the bulk of the installations taking place during 2018-2019."
